I'm Curtis Townley, a digital content creator, event coordinator, teacher, and internationally toured electronic musician. I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Education (Primary), where I was awarded the Dean's List of Academic Excellence and the Sydney Academic Merit Prize. Alongside my work in education, I have been with Endeavour Group since 2018, gaining extensive experience inside the Customer Hub as a social media handler, a tactical response agent, a floor support member, an AI bot trainer, and a reliable representative. In addition, I co-host a children's music podcast, My Singalong! where I host acclaimed ANZ kids' artists such as Emma Memma, Bounce Patrol, and Lah Lah.

I began producing electronic music and using Photoshop at 14, and since launching my public career in 2018 I have built an audience of 3,800+ followers on Soundcloud and generated over $10,000 in revenue from 1,500+ Bandcamp sales. I have also independently organised tours to Europe (twice) and the United States, engaging directly with international communities and scenes without external management or promoters. Domestically, I have run numerous music events and toured international artists in Sydney, as well as collaborating and leading volunteers at multiple music festivals in NSW. These experiences reflect a strong understanding of the global electronic music landscape and demonstrate my ability to tailor digital content to specific audiences.
Alongside my music career, I successfully balanced demanding commitments, graduating from the University of Sydney, maintaining a job at Endeavour, a Podcast host for children's music, and also being an active teacher within the NSW Department of Education. These experiences have strengthened my organisational, communication, and content delivery skills.
I believe I can leverage all of these experiences - from coordinating and managing the wellbeing and progress of over 650 students as a PE teacher in 2023, to my seven years of creative content and customer engagement at Endeavour, to my digital design, marketing, and community-building skills developed as a self-managed international musician. I am confident that I can contribute not only strong content and marketing strategies, but also a genuine passion for cultivating audiences and strengthening the culture that EMC represents.
